Ten Things I Wish
63This poem was inspired by a conversation among friends some time ago. What would you wish for if you were granted 3 wishes? Real original, I know! The answers that came up were most enlightening. Continuing to think on this topic while driving home, I expanded the question to 10 wishes. Giving this more thought, I came up with the wishes I would make hoping to make the largest impact I could both in the world and on myself. The result was this short poem.
Ten Things I Wish
Four things I wish all mankind someday
health, peace, prosperity and to pray their own way
Three things I wish someday I will see
my Creator, His heaven and you there with me
Two things I wish I never will lose
your precious love and being with you
One thing I wish above all else
that always I'll be true to myself

Those are THE ten best wishes I've ever heard and so perfectly worded in a poem. This is one of those poems you'd see engraved on glass or in a book of inspirational quotes :)
