Poetic Fool

Joined 3 years ago from Southern California. Last activity 3 days ago.

Hey!  My name is Rick.  Welcome to my profile.  It's not much but it's home here on HubPages!  So, about myself ... I like to write in general and poetry in particular.  I've been doing it for about three years now.  I don't profess to be a poet but most definitely am a poetic fool.  I do enjoy writing as a carthartic exercise.  It helps me crystalize the disparate thoughts running through my head and make some sense of them all.

I welcome your comments and feedback on my poems, especially if you can relate to them.  I do have thick skin so, please, don't worry about offending me.  I have been very impressed with the quality of writers I've found on HubPages and have made many new friends here.  I'm thoroughly enjoying reading what others have written and have already learned so much doing so.

If you would like to join this excellent writer's community, you can create your own HubPages account for free.  You'll find HubPages is a great place to hone your writing skills, make a lot of great, supportive friends and maybe even make some money!

If you wish, feel free to contact me with questions, comments or just to get to know me better.  I would be glad to connect with you on Facebook, Google+, Twitter (@poetic_fool) and Pinterest as well.  I also maintain a poetry blog I would love you to check out.  Enjoy reading!
